Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic inflammatory skin disease characterized by intense itching and recurrent eczematous lesions. The disease affects up to 20% of children and up to 3% of adults. This activity will examine the clinical features, immuno-pathophysiology, and impact of AD, and strategies for individualized treatment.

Readmissions are common following hospitalization for HF; an estimated 1 million HF patients are re-hospitalized each year. This curriculum is designed to help participants improve their Quality Improvement skills by exploring how to successfully implement, and sustain, interventions that improve this important quality measure.
